Welcome home, lovely! My name is Christina. I began practicing yoga, meditation, and Reiki at a time in my life when I felt lost. I was experiencing major life transitions and felt uncertain of my identity and my life's purpose. I was very much living in my masculine energy; overthinking, feeling constantly overwhelmed, and overworked. Keeping my body in overdrive and suppressing my emotions over time led to unexplained illness, physical pain, and feeling disconnected from life. A few years ago, after enduring months of a traumatic pregnancy, I suffered the loss of my baby girl. I was struggling to navigate grief and was desperately in need of connection, understanding, and deep inner healing. I became dedicated to embarking on my own healing journey. I began incorporating embodiment practices into my daily life as I began to explore the depths of myself. When I began exploring and leaning into the painful experiences, shadow parts, and inner wounds, I discovered my healing gifts along the way. Slowly, I embraced my authenticity and found a sense of inner peace. This is what led to the creation of Sol y Mar Healing.

 

Since, I have felt intuitively guided to support others in navigating their healing journeys. I became passionate about helping others find connection to their inner wisdom and guidance. Cultivating empowerment through self-discovery, self-compassion, and self-acceptance. I believe the everyone has the ability to heal from within.

My practice has led me around the world. I have practiced yoga in various studios, Ashrams, and yoga Shalas. Immersing myself in different teachings and cultures has allowed me to create connections with so many beautiful souls within diverse communities. As I continue to grow and learn, I am excited to find and build community while sharing my story and healing offerings with others. My ongoing intention is to walk alongside you through this journey as a mentor, coach, guide, and sister.
